Despite early season anxieties from insufficient rainfall and planting delay, peanut planting reached completion around mid-December.
Recently, good rains came well for the crop's growth in most of the areas. Alta Paulista, nevertheless, has reported some inconsistency and lack of rains lately, although last week they have received some rains, it’s not perfect. There’s still much time to go until harvesting period.
The area increase is still unknown but it’s a consensus that it’s around 10-15%.
Meanwhile, an increase in grain exports in November was shown, counterbalanced by continued declines in oil exports.
